Top 5 Best CPUs 2021-Best Gaming CPUs 2021-Intel and AMD
Top 5 Best CPUs
Today I’m updating my Top 5 Best CPUs 2021 | Best Gaming CPUs 2021 Intel and AMD lists and although I updated it just 4 months ago now a lot has changed since then we’ve had the release of Intel’s new eleventh Jan cool series of apps, more importantly, they slash prices of the previous tenth Gen series meanwhile I am day has continued to struggle with supply and with others highly anticipated non-X. is in 3 prizes in science they competing pretty Polly in terms of value right now especially with those discounted tenth Jan pot so I mentioned a moment ago still despite all of that their sales haven’t really been affected that much at least as far as we can tell anyway there’s a lot to go over so let’s get into it, as usual, I’ll start with the most affordable options and then work our way out.
Best Entry-Level CPU: Intel Core i3-10100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
Historically the best value entry-level CPUs of cost around $100 US so mostly true today there are of course as with all things in 2021 pricing can be a bit screwy take our current and previous pick for this category pricing of the Intel core I. 310 100 it can vary quite drastically it’s still possible to find it in stock for 100 $25 USD which is why I’m still recommending it but a lot of retailers have it for around 150 $207 U. S. and at that price, I don’t recommend it and in the F. skew which should be cheaper makes no sense because the best pricing I could find for it was 100 $45 US the pricing of the 10 100 really is all over the place had been H., for example, they have in stock for under $25 US but prices at Newegg.com started $160 U. S. with a third party seller and then $170 U. S. A. for Amazon at these prices as I said you basically knocking on the door of core I. 5 pots and at that point, the 10 100 makes no sense Sir if you can land at the 10 100 for under $130 U. S.
I think it’s a good value option above that though you should stop considering something like the core I. 510 400 and alternative options this price point would be the Ryzen 332 under J. though it is only a full call for thread pot and at $130 U. S. it’s not super compelling and certainly not as good as the core I. 310 100 but in the absence of the core I. 3 pa this really is 1 of the best CPUs priced near $100 US there’s also the 4 core 8 thread Ryzen 530 400 J. but it’s currently out of stock ever I checked but at around $107 US should again be better off with a tenth Jan core I. 5 pot which will look at the moment the same applies to the Ryzen 516 100 $75 U. S. on the Ryzen 530 500 acts at $190 U. S. as for the Ryzen 532 R. J. the only advantage it enjoys over the core I. 310 100 is the I. M. for upgrade path that is assuming you buy decent quality people that can handle the high core count pots other than that stripping the core I. 310 100 on a new B. 560 board looks like the way to guard for budget shoppers.
Best ‘Value’ All Rounder Desktop CPU: Core i5-11400 or 11400F
Back in January the Ryzen 536 was once again my pick for the best value all round-up and this is been the case dating back to 2019 I noted that a good alternative and a close runner-up wall the Intel core I. 510 400 F. but it knowing that it was a bit let down by motherboard prices and cost the Nate fries as your report if you wish to run a memory space above DDR 42666 since then the 10 400 it has plummeted in price from around $180 US $250 USD while the Ryzen 530 600 has gone up to $220 at least when you can find it so the 10 400 F. is the obvious choice of the terror but sadly it’s no longer in stock either at least for retailers who were selling $150 those have stock Orozco between 190 and $200 US at that point you might as well just look at the new 11 400 series as it stands the core I. 511 400 F. can be had 400 $75 US while the standard version with the integrated graphics is just $10 more sorry that’s less than the $190 USD.
You’ll pay for the Ryzen 520 600 $220 you’ll pay for the 30 600 or $300 you’ll pay the 50 600 X. if you can find it when compared to the 10 400 5011 400 F. benefits from better memory support DDR 430 200 is now the stock configuration though doesn’t really matter given the cheaper B. 560 boards now supports memory overclocking you also get 20 PCI express lanes from the CPU where is the tenth Jan coal pots only got 16 and that means the newer CPUs can connect directly to your primary M..to the storage device for even greater performance now Intel motherboards might be around 20 to $30 mall but that’s offset by the cheapest CPU pricing not to mention level 400 if he’s fast on the Ryzen 530 600 across the board particularly when looking at gaming performance and that makes it the obvious. Choice in my opinion.
Best High-End Gaming CPU: Core i7-10700/F or Core i9-10900/F
The best time gaining CPP this 1’s been largely dominated by Intel over the years though the potential for that to change was and 3 was certainly real but has yet to eventuate you to the TSMC 7 amid supply constraints, as a result, AMD’s 8 core 16 thread is N. 3 poppy 50 Iraq’s is coming in at $450 U. S. and while it is in stock right now at least at the time making this video it’s not particularly competitive at that price point that’s because Intel’s flogging off their previous generation I call 16 towards a peaceful under $300 US the core I. 710 700 for example can be had for just $290 US while the esky model is cheaper to get 200 $65 so where’s your face nothing to pay $56 per call.
If I am the day you’ll be paying just $33 per call with Intel that’s a massive 40 percent saving for those of you wondering the eleventh Jan core I. 7 range is pretty weak right now in terms of value there arguably still better value than what Hades offering with the Ryzen 750 800 X. at $450 US the 11 700 can be had for $340 while the SQ is actually a little bit more expensive at $350 so not sure how that works and then we have the 11 700 K. at $390 so I still $6 less than the 50 800 X. that said to be fair I am the day the 50 800 X. is far more power-efficient and is supported by the superior I am full platform but again neither a good value right now.
There’s really no alternative for I am the day the previous generations into processes which still use the 7 I made a process of selling their introductory price so the Ryzen 730 700 XS $310 U. S. on the rise in 930 100 X. is $550 US and in my opinion by should be avoided at those prices if you’ve got more money to spend in the next best option is the core I. 9 at 10 at 900 for 300 $75 all the F. secure version for $350 again both a considerably better value than anything you’ll get from I am here right now and Wells better than anything from Intel’s new eleventh Jan core I. 9 series as an example the 11 900 costs $550 the excuse only slightly cheaper 5 or $20 the 11 900 K. F. is $540 and the 11 900 K. is an embarrassing $620 US Sarah hard pass on all of those options sorry the best high-end desktop CPUs were getting right now are either the core I. 710 700 all the core I. 910 900 and the F. speed variance.
Best Value Productivity CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X / 5950X or Intel Core i9-10900/F
You’re interested in getting some work done that may not be an option on the side but the priority is productivity so what should you get the obvious answer is Zen 3 Ryzen 9 processor certainly the 1500 XL 50.50 X. how do you spell has nothing they can really hold a candle to those CPUs not even in the high-end desktop lineup the rising on 1500 X. is incredibly good value for productivity tasks at $550 and even the 5950 X. is great value at $800 sadly though neither of them is in stock right now have been difficult to purchase ever since release and please no that’s not to say there’s never any stock but as soon as a new shipment comes in desperate by smashing whether a 5 K. snap them up seconds after going on sale so I was spotty availability and alternative really is in order and while there’s nothing nearly as good as the 5950 excel 1500 X. south of $1000 U. S. for productivity workloads at least in terms of value the core I. 910 900 attend on her behalf goodbyes with 10 cores and 20 threads is a capable CPU and certainly the best value option for those looking at getting some work done.
Best Extreme Desktop CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X 64-Core
Of course 16 cores won’t cut it at the next best option is to dig really deep and cough up what I consider to be first come money for a third Janet for her savior yeah I Andy is yet to announce the 3 have 5000 series that means you are limited to a center based threat of our product and that includes the 64 call 39 at 90 X. the 30 to call 3976 of the 24 call 3960 X. all of which are based in their own right at the time of making this video 3 models are available the cheapest of which is the threat of a 3960 X. for an eye watering $1430 US so that’s the entry level price point and it’ll buy you 20 full is Andrew Coles in a single package if that’s not enough 30397 X. can be had for $2000 US and with that you are getting 32 calls and if that sounds like about half as many calls as you actually made then it may I introduce you to the 39 at 90 X. 4 3000 $970 so basically $4000 US it has 64 course and 100 28 threads anyway if you’re after the most extreme desktop CPU it is quite clearly a third Gen Threadripper model.
Simply due to pricing availability Intel has largely dominated the picks for this update hands down claiming 3 of the 5 picks with the fourth paying somewhat undecided due to these and 3 based Ryzen on pots being mostly MIAA so this once again proves it really is all about pricing and a space availability and that’s what’s kept I am deep so competitive at least for the first few directions of Ryzen which what necessarily that competitive in terms of performance at least 1 office released sorry that being the case this is a situation that I am D. will desperately want to change before too long they fought tooth and nail to claw back market share and giving up anything while in what really should be a vastly superior position well that’d be far from ideal to say the least it’s not position that I am in Intel find themselves in it’s very much a role reversal from just a few years ago well they things look pretty ugly for Intel right now and let’s be honest they are it could be a lot worse far far worse
For example if I only had the supply needs to release a full product line it would be game over for Intel and the current price cuts were saying with the tenth Gen series just wouldn’t be nearly enough for example should aim to introduce the Ryzen 550 609 X. for around $200 U. S. and the Ryzen 757 or X. for $300 US that would mean that even the currently out of stock 10 400 F. would be a difficult product to move $150 while the 10 700 F. for 200 $65 would simply be another guy anyway there’s no signs that a day’s gonna release these mythical pots any time soon and no guarantee that that be competitively priced if they did so for now these really are your best options at each price point if you found this video useful please give it a lot you can subscribe for more content and if you appreciate where you’re how books do you like to become more involved in the channel you can join us I write flood plain old patron links for both of those are the VA description you got access to monthly live stream to tell myself behind the scenes content Q. and a.
